to connect students with the educational and occupational possibilities
for successful lives and careers in New Mexico.
This collaborative community initiative emerged in response to growing realization
that many New Mexicans are unaware of the vast array of opportunities
for meaningful and rewarding work here in our very own state.
The project is designed to link New Mexico students
with real-life people living real-life careers in leading industries in New Mexico
through a range of opportunities.
New Mexico Career Academy is developing informal and formal
Camps, Boot Camps, Courses, Meet-Ups,
and online resources, many created by students FOR students,
as well as a virtual Career Library, Video Bank, and Resource Links.

Launched and stewarded by CommUNITY Learning Network,
this collaborative initiative is a collective response
by students, interns, educators, parents,
businesses, agencies, and community organizations
to work together AND work creatively
to engage and inspire our youth
and to share with our future generations
the magnitude of possibilities for creating a meaningful and rewarding life in our state.
CommUNITY Learning Network (CLN) is a New-Mexico-born and locally-based educational 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to "Building stronger communities through real-life learning." CLN was established based on the wise words of our Navajo co-founder who advised: "Well-being is nourished by being accountable to a people and a place."
